Ready to raft the Pigeon but just can’t decide what section? Do both! Raft the thrilling Class 3 & 4 rapids of the Upper Pigeon and then stop for lunch riverside at our Lost Guide Grill. We have several sandwich, chips, and drink options available including vegetarian selections.During the second half of the Pigeon River Combo, you have the choice of relaxing in a guided raft or stepping up the adventure in your own inflatable kayak.
Upper Pigeon
Our certified guides will navigate your raft the entire trip, sharing their love of splashing through big waves, maneuvering around rocks, and enjoying the beauty of being in the great outdoors. Big waves, big drops and plenty of surfing will assure that you have the time of your life.On your trip, you’ll get to run about 70 rapids ranging from class 1 to class 4. But, never fear, the Big Pigeon River is for the inexperienced and experienced paddlers. Don’t worry Mom, we’re gonna take good care of you and the kids.
Extreme Rafting
Experience the thrill of the Upper Pigeon in a smaller raft with a maximum of three rafters and a guide. We’ll push the limits running go-for-it lines, hitting the meat of big waves, and surfing all of our favorite waves and hydraulics. A fast, dynamic experience for thrill-seekers.*Please note: for this trip, the ability to swim is a must and previous rafting experience is recommended.
Lower Pigeon
Rafting on the lower Pigeon River is one of the best attractions in the Smoky Mountains! It’s a 5 1/2 mile trip through the scenic Pigeon River gorge. This adventure begins at the outpost and ends at the Denton Bridge. From there, we bus you back up to the outpost.Water fights and splashing are very popular on the lower Pigeon River. People of all ages loveit! So, if you’re looking for something with a little less speed, this rafting trip on the Pigeon River is for you.
